Country of origin: UK

The British Society for Colposcopy and Cervical Pathology (BSCCP) has a website able to send online mail shots and provide a variety of features to help serve the public and its membership.

This is a step forward for the BSCCP which has a 2,500 membership and provides information for the public on issues about cervical screening and colposcopy. Significant changes from the old site include a database containing membership details which can be updated by each member via a secure login facility, more information for women, detailed training and educational sections, interactive polling and a bulletin board for its membership.

The BSCCP feel that the new website provides an opportunity to ensure excellence in training and improved standards of care for those dealing with women with abnormal smears.
