Country of origin: UK

Anyone who is a UK resident is entitled to medical treatment that becomes necessary, at reduced cost or sometimes free, when temporarily visiting a European Union (EU) country, Iceland, Liechtenstein, Norway or Switzerland. Application for an EHIC can be made free of charge, on the EHIC website.
