A paper examining how to encourage people to adopt healthy behaviours has been published by the King?s Fund. It is the second in the ?Kicking Bad Habits? series and looks at interventions targeted at low-income groups including quitting smoking, healthy eating and exercise. It notes that providing patient information and encouraging people to set goals are effective techniques.
