The National Patient Safety Agency (NPSA) has issued patient safety guidance for staff working in the area of mental health and learning disabilities.

The Rapid Response Report focuses on the issue of resuscitation of patients in mental health and learning disability settings and applies the all NHS organisations in England and Wales where mental health and learning disability patients are treated.

The document was launched at a national conference on patient safety in mental health in Leeds.

The Rapid Response Report is available on the NPSA website.
